Protecting environmental safety in South Korea for 30 years

Seoul, February 1, 2026 – Dürr CTS Korea Inc. received the Ministry of Environment’s Ministerial Commendation for its exceptional contributions to environmental protection and technological advancement in South Korea. The award was presented during Chemical Safety Week by the Ministry of Environment and the Korea Environmental Engineers Association (KEEA).

As the Korean subsidiary of Dürr CTS, the company expressed great pride in receiving this prestigious recognition, which is awarded to individuals, public officials, and organizations dedicated to the environmental sector.

Cha Eun-young, the managing director of Dürr CTS Korea, said, “I would like to share this honor with all the employees of Dürr CTS Korea and our entire global Dürr CTS family.” She continued, “Last year marked the 30th anniversary of supplying and installing air pollution reduction systems in Korea since our foundation. Building on our accumulated technology and experience, we officially launched the new environmental technology corporation Dürr CTS Korea Inc. on November 1, 2025, to better respond to rapidly changing markets and customer needs.” She emphasized, “We will continue to provide reliable systems and contribute to reducing air pollution in Korea through ongoing technological development.”

Technological Excellence and Environmental Contributions
Since 1995, Dürr CTS has played a significant role in advancing Korea’s environmental technology by introducing regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTOs) across various industries. Their advanced control systems effectively manage hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). In addition to RTO systems, the company supplies dust filtration units, concentrators, and other environmental equipment, achieving the highest reduction rates in HAP emissions.

This award motivates Dürr CTS Korea to continue providing reliable, durable products and to focus on developing high-quality solutions that will meet future environmental regulations and customer demands.
